On Friday 21st October pupils from Bailey Street AP Academy were invited to join Youth Net and watch a production about knife crime from the Saltmine Theatre Company. The pupils gained an invaluable experience and insight into the pitfalls around knife crime and peer pressure to carry bladed weapons and the potential outcomes.
Wellbeing Soundbath
The staff at Bailey Street were recently involved in a number of wellness activities. We were delighted to welcome Stillness In Sound to present a sound bath to us. A sound bath is a meditative experience during which a group of people lie down and listen to resonant sounds. It often involves singing bowls, which create an echoing sound that feels like it fills the room. It was a truly relaxing yet uplifting experience.
